Description
This ECCP physical matchmaking event was held in the context of the Clusters meet Regions event on 26 April 2023 in Kittila, Lapland, Finland. The objective of the matchmaking was to strengthen the capacity of the regional ecosystems and clusters to support sustainable and responsible raw material exploration and refining by increasing the industrial collaboration in the EU by bringing together the circular industrial economy and digitalisation-related technology providers and businesses to support the cross-sectorial partnership, creation of new and improved value chains.
EVENT TARGET GROUP
Industrial and innovation clusters, Cluster Policy Makers, EU business community, Investors, Project coordinators, SME. Around 150 representatives of European clusters, local, regional, national, and European public authorities, together with industry and civil society stakeholders, joined the event in person and shared their experiences and provided insights into the role of the clusters in increasing the responsible utilisation of the raw materials.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE WEATHER CONDITIONS
Weather forecasts for the 25th to 27th of April in Lapland Finland seem chilly at the moment. The lowest temperature outdoors is -7⁰C, and there might be some snowfall and rain. To make your stay comfortable with us, please gear up accordingly. In practice, have warm shoes (that you may walk in the snow), a winter overcoat, a warm hat, gloves and a scarf with you. Additionally, full-length bottom (trousers/long skirt) is highly recommended. Wool clothing adds warmth, if necessary.
