The 6th Plenary Session of the General Assembly of the Maritime Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences was held on June 14. The meeting was held at the Maritime Station IO UG im. Professor Krzysztof Skóra. From Gdynia to Hel, the members of the Polish Maritime Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences traveled on the rv Oceanograf. Members  of the Committee were informed  about the modern equipment of the research vessel of the University of Gdańsk and the activity of the Maritime Station of the Institute of Oceanography UG for the protection of the marine environment, including the seal population during the session.
