iTech Transilvania's Cluster Manager, Mrs. Bianca Muntean, has successfully defended her PhD Thesis in Management at the end of September at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, having as main theme of research  cluster management excellence and  knowledge management in small and medium sized enterprises. 

Her research paper, presents a quite new subject for the Romanian market and studied the success factors when striving for excellence in cluster management. 

The research made on this topic and the observations during her activity in the last 4 years, helped Mrs. Muntean to aquire new knowledge and turn it into advantage for the cluster. All this knowledge was applied during the time in the cluster organisation and it can be seen as a continuous learning process for the cluster management team and organisations. This performance brings new opportunities and opens new paths to implement new collaborative projects. 

The public defence was attended by cluster managers from Transilvania region, regional specialists and  faculty members and students.
