In Turin, Italy, seventy companies, public and private institutions have formed an alliance to strengthen the local ecosystem and to improve the quality of doing business and finance by pursuing economic goals along with social impact objectives. It is a very good example of how profit and non-profit, public and private entities can join forces to achieve a common goal. They joined the project by subscribing a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at sharing ideas, experiences, projects and resources in order to catalyse and attract investments and activities which aspire to solve emerging social problems through economically sustainable business models.

Multiple local partnerships for social economy and Covid-19

Multiple Local Parterships like Torino Social Impact have some very important added values (knowledge sharing, advocacy, resources pooling, shared services, joint promotion, etc) and, similarly to clusters mechanisms, lay on high quality synergies and are able to facilitate profitable inner exchanges, boosting solutions and their scalability and replicability. This organized and consolidated cooperation frameworks has proven their effectiveness during the COVID-19 outbreak emergency when fast information circulation and quick actors coordination turned to be essential to meet the needs of different communities and people’s groups.

We would be very interested in getting to know similar multiple local partnerships.
