About the POLREC Project

POLREC is a collaborative project involving five European clusters: Polymeris (coordinator), CENTIMFE, Cluster Mav, Wirtschaftsförderung Raum Heilbronn, and Plast Center Danmark/DMN. This project helps SMEs recycle polymer waste, develop value-chain interlinkages with other European SMEs, and seize international business opportunities related to polymer recycling.

Over three years, POLREC plans to support up to 250 SMEs through financial assistance and specialized services, aiming to:

• Encourage the adoption of recycling technologies.
• Train SMEs' workforces in new technologies.
• Enable participation in international trade fairs and matchmaking events.

Matchmaking Mission Details

The POLREC Internationalisation Open Call offers financial support for SMEs to join a matchmaking mission in Quebec, Canada, from February 3 to February 7, 2025. Each selected SME will receive up to €3,600, with a total budget of €132,000, allowing up to 36 SMEs to participate.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, SMEs must demonstrate:

1. Interest in Polymer-Recycling: Articulate their interest in the matchmaking mission.
2. Project Development: Show ongoing or planned projects around polymer-recycling.
