5 members of AEI Tèxtils receive 245k EUR in funding in the 1st In Transit DEVELOP call for innovation projects
In Transit is a project in which AEI Tèxtils participates as a partner. The main focus is the promotion of green and digital innovation in the textile, aerospace and construction sectors. As part of the activities, it has just completed the evaluation of the 144 proposals received in the first call of DEVELOP grants. In total, 197 SMEs participated, in individual or consortium projects, and the 21 best projects were selected to receive grants of up to 49,000€ per SME (30 SMEs in total).
The evaluation process was carried out by an external group of experts in the fields of textiles, advanced manufacturing and the construction industry.
Spain is the country with the most SMEs financed (11 out of the total 30 beneficiaries), followed by Greece (3). In this call, In Transit awarded a total of 1,5M€.
The five SMEs members of AEI Tèxtils selected to receive funding are: Incabo, Hilaturas Arnau, Tèxtil Torné, Technitiger i Texfire.
AEI Tèxtils values in a positive way the involvement of the cluster members in the different activities of In Transit and their success in the two calls, including the grants awarded for a total value of more than €245k.
The first In Transit call, INNOVATE, already supported the acceleration of the green transition through coaching services to 4 cluster members.
In Transit is a key strategic project of AEI Tèxtils to promote the acceleration of the green and digital transition as a driver of growth and competitiveness of SMEs in the sector. It promotes cooperation between partners and with other innovative systems such as construction, aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Its cross-sector approach enables new business opportunities to be generated, as well as cross-sector innovation.
